Preschool 

Junior Class:

The Junior Preschool Class is offered for children 4 - 5 years of age. This class attends school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The Junior Class is an optional full day class in which parents can choose the 8:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. half day or the 8:00 a.m. - 2:20 p.m. full day. This class is eligible to participate in Eagle’s Nest, the after school program.

PeeWee Class:

The PeeWee Preschool Class is offered for children 3 - 4 years of age. This class attends school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

 

Kindergarten through Grade 6 

All classes, including full-day Kindergarten, are in attendance from 7:40 a.m. - 2:20 p.m. We maintain limited class sizes at an average of 18 students per classroom. St. John School is state accredited and we follow Indiana State Standards. All classroom teachers are licensed and several classes are supported by teacher aides. Our students represent a diverse population.

 

After School Program 

Eagle’s Nest is our after school program that runs from 2:20 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. This program is offered to our students at $3.00/hour. Eagle’s Nest provides care for your child(ren) where they can complete homework, receive academic assistance from volunteers, and participate in free play.

At St. John School, we believe in offering a wide variety of events, whether it is religious, academic, or for enjoyment purposes. Many of the events and activities include:
